Scooter Cam!! Flip Video's Week 3 - Live from Vans Warped Tour 2009

Most of you may know this, but if not, here's a little background info. All summer at the Warped Tour, Simone has been riding around on a sweet scooter with a Flip Video Camera screwed onto her helmet. She wears a tee shirt that says Tip The Van Scooter Cam and rides around talking to people at Warped Tour, saying hi, interviewing and checking out bands. It's pretty awesome. She's been posting videos ALL summer (www.youtube.com/tipthevan) and has become a part of the Warped Tour phenomenon - people are actually looking for her!

Oddly enough, Flip Video has ALSO been following the Warped Tour and when they discovered Simone, well, it was destiny.

Indianapolis Warped Tour!

We are currently setting up our merch tent in Indianapolis, the first Warped Tour date Tip The Van ever played! Our bus is parked in a giant field right outside the gates and as soon as walked out onto the field, I totally knew where I was. Today we are playing in the amphitheater which totally rocks because we are going to be completely in the shade.

The Big D bus has broken down

The bus is being towed to a gas station to be filled up and looked at.

We are getting dropped off at the gas station by a van provided by the towing company.

Inside the station we found a Mexican restaurant. Thank goodness for breakfast burritos and sopapillas.

Keep your fingers crossed that we make our ten our drive in time!

The voting has officially ended and all we have to do now is wait to hear the results! Even though Simone and Nicole are currently already playing the Warped Tour with Big D & the Kids Table, the rest of the band thanks you all for helping us possibly having opportunity to share TTV's music with the Warped Tour!
